Home and Virtual Consults
Home Visits
Tzipora Sara will come to your home, where both mom and baby feel most comfortable, and work with you to meet yours and your baby’s needs. Tzipora will bring a scale with her for pre and post weights to assess milk transfer. Tzipora will do a full oral examination as well as evaluate latch and positioning. She will provide any counseling needed and refer to a specialist when necessary.
Everything we use is sanitized and cleaned to ensure everyone’s safety.
Feel free to have your support system with you while we work together.
Virtual Consults
We have virtual session options for a contact-free lactation experience. This is a great option for prenatal sessions and /or follow up sessions. It also ensures breastfeeding help when commute may be an issue.
*Virtual lactation consults are not as comprehensive as in-person consults. Please call to discuss if they are right for you.
Prenatal Visits
Prenatal education is an important first step to your breastfeeding journey! Studies show, women who receive prenatal education go on to breastfeed longer, with more confidence, and are more successful at doing so. It ensures mom and baby start off on the right foot (or breast ;) and can prevent any barriers. It may just make all the difference. Schedule a Prenatal appointment and set yourself up for success!
Fees and Policies
All fees include 2 weeks of messaging support (Call/text/Email).
Initial home visit: $250
Additional fee for multiples: $100/baby
Follow up home visit: $175
Prenatal Virtual Consult: $150
Initial virtual consult: $200
Follow up virtual consult: $150
You will be provided with a superbill to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. While reimbursement is mandated for most plans under the Affordable Care Act, Milk and Munchkin cannot guarantee any outcome and will not submit an appeal.
All payments may be paid in Cash, Check, Zelle, or Venmo.
Please note: Milk and Munchkin has a strict 24 hour cancellation policy.
Any appointments cancelled within 24 hours will be automatically charged a $50 cancellation fee.
